First and foremost, I would like to say thank you to Sarikei District Council for giving me a chance to have a few words in the special column under the official Sarikei District Council website. I, as the chairman of this council feel very happy and would like to congratulate the council for a work well done in successfully creating and launching this international standard website. |

With this website, we hope to reach all levels of the society, from our children in school to the older generations, with the fastest and most efficient way of gaining information needed. Hopefully this website will provide the most detailed information regarding our functions, development progress as well as the activities of the council since its first establishment to everyone. Congratulations and well done once again to Sarikei District Council as well as the Ministry for the success of this ICT project.
